Afrofuturism Book Chat at Chicago Tech Incubator, Dec. 27

What do hackers, gamers and sound engineers have in common? A love for Afrofuturism! The Afrofuturism book tour continues with a book chat in Chicago Friday, Dec. 27,  at Blue 1647. Blue 1647 is a technology incubator based in Chicago’s Pilson neighborhood. Author Ytasha L. Womack hosts the chat and it is sponsored by Quake Studios. Come out and learn more about Afrofuturism, share your ideas and talk about new concepts in the aesthetic. Autographed copies will be available onsite. The talk takes place in the midst of the weekend hackathon. Music performances will follow the talk, too. Hope to see you there!
