DanceCult Journal Devotes Their New Issue to Afrofuturism

DanceCult: The Journal of Electronic Dance Music Culture ‘s Vol 5 No.2 (2013) issue is devoted to Afrofuturism. Tobias C. Van Veen is the special editor for the issue which also includes a critique of our favorite book Afrofuturism: The World of Black Sci Fi & Fantasy Culture.  The issue looks at Afrofuturism in dance culture music and includes the essay Fabulous: Sylvester James, Black Queer Afrofuturism and the Black Fantastic by Reynaldo Anderson as well as The Metaphysics of Crackle by Mark Fischer.
